Rustic Trail RV terms and conditions. By placing an order you are agreeing to all of the following:
Deposit Refund Policy:
Your order will officially be in the queue when the $2,500 initial down payment is paid in full. The deposit is refundable minus a 20% fee ($500).
Orders placed BEFORE April 24th, 2022: The $500 deposit is non-refundable.
Payment structure & final build:
• $2,500 deposit due at the time of order.
• Before the build process starts on your camper an RTTC staff member will contact you to finalize your order. An estimated completion date will be given to you at this time. Please note that changes cannot be made after your order has been finalized. If you are unable to pick up the camper within 30 days of the date given your order will automatically be moved to the bottom of our queue. Please note that if you are moved to the bottom of our queue that your camper and option prices will be adjusted (increased) to the current pricing at the time when your camper is finally built.
• The remaining balance of your order is due upon completion of your camper.
Final Payment Policy & Credit Card Processing Fee: The remaining balance of your camper is due upon completion of the unit. You may pay the remaining balance with a credit card (3% fee), cash, certified check, or personal check sent several days prior to pick up to allow time for it to clear. Personal checks will NOT be accepted at the day of pick up. If the camper is not picked up or delivery is not arranged within 30 days of your completion date there will be a $100 a month storage fee. All checks should be made payable to “Rustic Trail RV”
Sales Tax & Registration: The cost of your camper does not include sales tax, registration, or any other related fees. It is the customer’s responsibility to register their camper in their home state and pay any related taxes or fees at the time of registration to be in compliance with your town, city, or state.
Completion: Completion/delivery dates are not guaranteed and are subject to change. For the most up to date completion estimate of your order please reach out to RTTC directly.
Making changes to your order: Any request for changes to your order must be emailed in writing to us. This includes adding or removing options and/or features and changing the camper model. Any request for changes is not guaranteed after ordering depending upon the process of your camper/order and is subject to availability. Any options added or camper model changes will be charged the current pricing shown on the website at that time.
Camper Model Prices: Due to longer than average lead times prices on materials may go up, requiring a price increase on our camper model prices even after ordering. Camper prices for your order will be finalized when you are contacted to confirm your build info when the remaining part of the deposit is due.
Option Prices: All option prices are estimates and are subject to change according to the market price. Option prices for your build will be finalized when you are contacted to just prior to your build is completed when the remaining part of the deposit is due.
Product Changes: Rustic Trail Teardrops reserves the right to make refinements and changes during the model year, including but not limited to materials, components, colors, cabinet & bed configurations, and specifications without notice.
Minor Defects: RTTC uses products (laminate, wood, metal, fabric, and other various materials) that may have minor defects inherent in the manufacturing of the materials. Although we strive to use and build the best quality campers, the material may have minor cosmetic defects. By ordering a camper you are agreeing to this statement and will not hold RTTC liable for the minor cosmetic defects.
Optional Front Rack: Purchasing the optional front rack may affect the turning radius and capabilities of your tow vehicle. Damage could result in the rear bumper. RTTC will not liable for damage or failure to observe the turning radius required to accommodate the optional attached front rack.
Custom Fee: Please note, any custom work (added accessories not normally offered by RTTC, reconfiguration of the interior of the camper in any way, or any other form of custom work) will be charged a flat rate of a $100 fee plus the cost of parts.
Service Labor Rate: Any services rendered by RTTC beyond picking up your camper will be charged at a rate of $50/hr.
Towing: To ensure that your vehicle is ready to tow your new Rustic Trail Teardrop Camper please refer to our starter guide here and recommended camping accessories. Please note that RTTC does not have the ability to install any vehicle wiring, trailer hitches, towing ball, or brake controllers. It is your responsibility to ensure you are ready to tow prior to the pick-up appointment. Please refer to your vehicle’s owner’s manual to determine your max towing capacity to ensure that your vehicle is equipped to tow the trailer you are ordering and all of the options you have selected. Rustic Trail Teardrops will not be held liable for vehicle damage both mechanical or cosmetic due to towing over the vehicles towing capacity, tongue weight, or improper towing in genera
